2 cups self-rising flour
2/3 cup milk
1/3 cup shortening
Cut shortening in flour until it resembles coarse meal. Quickly stir in milk. Knead dough lightly. Roll to one half inch thickness on a lightly floured board. Cut into two inch biscuits. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 450 for 12 – 15 minutes.
